What a great way to spend a saturday morning!

Thanks to Paul and Brian for organising, and to all the staff at OPC Sutton who were so welcoming, enthusiastic and thorough in checking out the cars that took advantage of the inspections using their superb facilities. They have a great bunch of people at Sutton - whenever I buy parts there it's a real pleasure to deal with them and they're unfailingly helpful despite my purchases being very modest compared with their regular customers!

Would never have known that I had worn tie-rod without this visit (though Lindsay spotted something amiss with the wheel as the tech drove it to the ramp). They spotted a couple of other items which look like they would eventually cause a problem, so good to be forewarned and plan maintenance accordingly.

Fabulous visit

Really enjoyed it

Never seen so many 928's checked over and all in one morning

Had mine checked over and nothing of concern, technician who did it reckoned it was good for another year without any need for wear and tear. So, must give it a bit of wellie again this year.

Tried out a couple of other cars on site but have to admit I am going to hang onto to what I drive now. I'm just an air cooled guy at heart

So, it's thanks to OPC at Sutton Coldfield for their hospitality and warmth of welcome as well as looking at so many cars without charge

Finally, thanks to Carole and Chris for setting up the visit.

i got up early this morning to come over, having spent last night fitting the track brake pads and wheels ready for donny next week - then saw the event was "fully subscribed" so stayed at home with the hailstorms...
