Sent the front seats away to be repaired.
I've sent the front seats away to be repaired/recoloured this week. I should get 'em back in about two weeks, so I wanna give the rest of the interior a good clean while the Porsche is off the road.
Can you recommend any good products for getting Linen (Cream) leather, and carpet back to tip top condition?
I will try and get the before and after pic's up on the site a little later.

A company called Kent Advanced Trading Services via the Furniture Clinc. They quoted est £420 for "Driver's seat panel replacement (Bolster), deep clean and recolouring. Passenger's seat panel replacement (bottom seat panel), deep clean and recolouring."
I'm not sure if I could have got it done cheaper, as it was the only quote I got. It's gotta be cheaper than having then totaly recovered though, eh?

There is an article in "John's 964 Web" site (are links to other sites allowed? just in case they are not, just google "John's 964 Web") - go to the "technical" menu item, then select "body and interior" - it's the 3rd article. It describes the process known as "connollising" and has lots of pictures. The cost for the 2 seats was £420 I believe, and that included replacing 4 panels.dekandgord wrote:who is doing the seats? how much etc????

Well, I got the seats back yesterday. But lets say I ain't that impressed.
The seats were delivered when I was at work leaving Kate to take delvery. At first glance they look o.k., but on closer inspection, they haven't replaced the bolster panel like they said they would, but patched it up instead. The switches and levers are also covered in overspray.
They ain't open Sat or Sun and I suppose they will be on holiday until the new year now. Let's see if they do anything about it in the new year.
