Thats interesting! I know its virtual but it does give you a good idea of what racing was like back then. Not many barriers but loads of trees and stuff to hit and the cars have more power than grip(the way it should be!) Watched 5 of them so far. :)

Looks interesting. There is a similar mod for rFactor I believe. I've had a go at the 1960s version of Le Mans in a modern Carrera Cup car and that was hard enough so driving monstrous ex F1 cars must take some rather large cojones.

GPL is still the best race sim out there. You can still get the original game on ebay (Got mine in the bargain bin in Staples) & the patchs & mods are available via the GPL preservation society. The physics are so good that it taught me a good deal about set ups & car control. Still have it on my PC. For the old circuits theres no equal. These clips are very old & the sim now looks better. You have to remember that back then these cars had 4 to 500 HP & Cross ply tyres. The death toll in F1 was awful. Give modern F1 skinny tyres & no aero & bring back the glory days. :twisted:
