Have you lowered it? If so, what's the ride like now?

Hi.

I just want to congratulate you on what a beautiful 944 you have. I think the colour you have chosen is fantastic and the alloys set it off fantastically. When I see cars of this quality it really does inspire me. Well done.

Ben :bounce:

Thanks for that Ben. The colour is it's original colour, the wheels are 18" Krone split-rims.

I quite like it, Richard. Don't think I'd have the pin stripes down the bonnet, but apart from that it's pretty good. I've seen this sort of light conversion on many American web sites.

Sorry for the late reply it has been lowered with KW V3s which are amazing also oddly the ride actually improved slightly.

I've sold the car now too I am after either a 996 Cabriolet or a turbo but I don't know how long it'll be until I get one though.

interesting use of the word mint.

I don't mean to be insulting, it looks fairly decent car, but mint means perfect, 'as if freshly minted' I.E. brand new.

I have found the guys (and gals) on here quite friendly and helpful, some may come across as "know-it-alls" but this may help some people who own these cars and aren't quite as mechanicaly/ technicaly minded or knowledgable about them. I have yet to come across any rude folk on here, and lets hope I don't. I own/ drive a 924 and have joined both clubs, both having their own advantages (to me anyway).

Also, I don't think anyone was being rude to yourself or your car, therefore baiting or goading in any way should not be going on.

this the car you're going to modify as previously mentioned on the 944 turbo S thread?

Have to say I'm new here but I sense that a lot of people don't particularly like this kind of modding, so I'd prepare for some fairly negative opinions if you go ahead.

If you're into cosmetic modding etc. and want a more sympathetic ear there are forums that cater for that type of thing, like http://www.modifiedcars.com/ and http://www.maxpower.co.uk/

Personally I'm finding it's better to keep my mouth shut on any subject that divides opinion rather than invite the wrath of those who have very individual aesthetic tastes. Apologies for any offense casued.
