Well the only comments are going to be that it looks really great. 8) paintwork is very impressive. Is that a US infill where the number plate would usually be?

Chris

Thanks Chris.. The infill was already on the car when I had it in 2005, I believe my late brother Ted who originally owned the car had that bit added to the car along with the side fairings when he bought the car..

Very nice indeed, lovely colour. I wish mine was that straight.

Personally I don't like the red infill with 944 written on it. I can never understand why people put things on their cars that repeat information already on the back of the car. There's already a badge that says 944. The red (what I suspect is) after-market thing looks tacky and boy-racerish.

The car would look complete / just right / perfect (struggling for complimentary words here) if you got rid of it and put the number plate where it's supposed to be.

Each to his own though and it's only my opinion so I don't want shouting at!

Thanks John... I like that infill especially at night as it lights up red around the black 944 numbers. I see your point though, it would be then a complete original but I want to try and keep it as it is in memory of me bro... Ta for comments though.

That is a lovely looking car, I wish mine looked as shiny :thumbright:

Thanks.. I don't polish it that often but I believe in washing it the correct way, which is using a cap full of MER in a bucket of warm water and using a soft sponge to wash the car from the top to bottom and wheels last. Then leave to dry a little so that the wax in the water dries to a filmy white substance on the car, then get a clean leather (must be leather) and dry it off and watch the shine come through...... try it and you'll be surprised..!

Are you thinking of a "tailblazer". If so I believe they were the red striped stickers with the car name or Turbo or whatever in the middle that were intended to go across the back window.
