If anyone can suggest what to do next:
1991 car - when a/c button is on, all I get is cold air (not great at this time of year). Fuse (no.29) is OK, relay no G17 may be the issue as its still original (part no 944 644 115 000 I think).
Is it worth getting a new relay and seeing what happens, or any other suggestions please ?

I'm a little puzzled by what you mean here.
Do you get warm air when the button isn't pressed? But when you press it, it turns cold?
