As we are in Singapore, I want to buy a new mobile

Ideally one with all the same gadgets as an iphone, but not tied to a contract.
Touch screen, with big numbers (blind as a bat) ipod.

Not interested in playing games or trawing the internet

Any ideas on whats avaliable?

I think that there may be an LG phone which is similar. I seem to remember the Gadget Show comparing the iPhone with something so if you are able to access the Channel 5 website you may be able to find out what it was.
Here's a link that may help;

You can get the iPhone on pay as you go with O2 now you know, but it costs about £350.

Hi Simon

Dumb question, but our phones are on contract, can I simply swap the sim cards and carry on?

Assuming that the new phone is on the same network or not locked to any network I would have thought that you should be able to. Thats all I do when I buy a new phone.
