Hi

I am sure that that I have read somewhere that there is a specific oil recommended for the 915 gearbox.

Does anyone have any opinions?

Thanks

I replaced my linkage bushes at athe bottom of the gearstick and under the hatch in front of the rear seats, replaced the oil with recommended shell EP90 ( i think) and this vastly improved the shifting more than when i fitted the SWEPCO. So I would try this first as it is cheaper than 4 litres of SWEPCO, and easy to do.

if its gear related issues, again check all bushes, and the UJ at the back, and also rear engine mounts.

Im doing a G50 conversion from my 915. So I need to thnk about oil too.

I used Swepco for the 915, but probably go for Mobil1 75/90 for the G50

thats what I thought might happen hence the 15w50. I was using Mobile1 at 20w50, so the silkolene should be fine.
