996 renewal

My 996 renewal from Privilege cam in at £840, an increase of £80 over 2006, so I shopped around . I got a lower quote of £690 from Hagerty, but as I was also renewing my RAC breakdown cover I thought I would ask them for a quote and to my surprise they quoted £588 plus a £50 cash back .

Just paid this morning £540 through Adrian Flux for myself, the wife, plus speeding ticket with a measley £400 excess, and with European cover included.
Much better than Tesco's renewal attempt of £770 plus £800 excess.

Li might have a point there, Mr P; I am also insured with Adrian Flux and the wife would have added £100 to the premium. I explained to her that we cannot afford that, so she cannot drive my 964

Downside of that is that when we go out, it's me that has to stick to the OJ..
