996 renewal

Post by roadrunner »

My 996 renewal from Privilege cam in at £840, an increase of £80 over 2006, so I shopped around . I got a lower quote of £690 from Hagerty, but as I was also renewing my RAC breakdown cover I thought I would ask them for a quote and to my surprise they quoted £588 plus a £50 cash back .

Just paid this morning £540 through Adrian Flux for myself, the wife, plus speeding ticket with a measley £400 excess, and with European cover included.
Much better than Tesco's renewal attempt of £770 plus £800 excess.

Li might have a point there, Mr P; I am also insured with Adrian Flux and the wife would have added £100 to the premium. I explained to her that we cannot afford that, so she cannot drive my 964 :-)
Downside of that is that when we go out, it's me that has to stick to the OJ..:-(
