hi i am lookind for the uj that goes between the steering column and the steering rack. can anyone help ?

If you look it up on PET the part no might be 945.347.027.00 It's a complete shaft with two uj's that goes past the exhaust manifold. IF that's what you mean it's £80 from Bert Gear. (Berlyn services) Second hand ones. Try your luck on ebay. But the dismantlers want all the money & will be half way shot anyway. :) I went for a new one. & the Mot tester listed it as advisory. Cheeky Barsteward.

i had one fitted at OPC part no. 945.347.027.08 price was £63.29 + vat, so less than bert gear

From experience albeit a couple of years ago, the OPC price was a nadge cheaper than all of the others.
I wouldn't buy a s/h one. It's A. a very safety critical part, B. it's a bit of a PITA to fit, C And most important they get cooked by the exhaust, even if the mounts are OK & won't last forever.
