Can anyone advise me, I have removed the rear axle to replace the fuel lines and brake lines buried beneth, whilst I have the axle removed I have decided to have it blasted and powder coated fit new bushes and refit, I have since found out that I could seriously screw up the ride height and stance of the car if I reassemble the torsion bars incorrectly into the axle, apparently being 1 tooth out could affect the height by 5mm, and could take days to set up, as I have not yet stripped the torsion bars out does anyone have experience on this matter or any sugestions

I know Clarks has a very good section about lowering the rear suspension by reindexing the bars but it also covers how to make a little reference plate so you know where everything was when you took it apart.

I think I'll let you read it and then ask for a hand if I ever have to remove mine.
