Welcome back. Are there many Porsches in Ireland?

Can we see a pic of yours?

Nawh, not many on the roads over here.
Have spotted a couple of IB 911's, 2 or 3 944's and I used to have a 924 as well.

Dont have many recent pics of mine, but it hasn't changed at all since these :

Cool, I like the black & silver number plates. Are they legal in Ireland?

The 924 looks great too. It must have been nice having both?

In Ireland, anything 30 years & older is "vintage".
No VRT to import it - just a handling fee of 50 Euro
Cheap road tax - 46 Euro a year
No NCT (equivalent of MOT over here)

The plates are legal, as black & silver/white was used back in the seventies over here.

Yeah, the 924 was a very good motor. Handled superbly. I bought it cheap. It was mechnically sound, but looked like a shed.
I think I spent more changing parts - complete interior - Dash, carpets, seats, etc. Spent a full weekend cleaning up the bodywork, claying, polishing, waxing, etc etc. (Had sore muscles for a week after that)
Fixed all the electrical gremlins - lights, windows, etc.

Only fault I had on it was an alternator, and I sourced a 2nd hand replacement for that.

I'm thinking of getting another :)
