winter protection DIY ?
Hi, has anyone attempted to waxoyl a 3.2? I bought mine just a few weeks ago and feel I need to protect it for the winter as its my daily driver. Any suggestions most welcome. I'm based in North London. Cheers.

Make sure the kidney bowl areas behind the doors are clean.Best way is to remove rear wheel and reach up by door lock and scrape out any build up of dirt(by hand).you will be surprised how much can be removed. Powerwash and apply waxoil , well worth keeping an eye on as repairs in this area are expensive. only way in is to cut door post , repair and reweld / spray door post area! Headlight bowls is another area
Not used them but companty called Classic Preservation in Shirley 0121 474 3172 advertise in 911 porsche world with SC/3.2 on stand for deep clean and treatment.Might be worth a call to find out what they concentrate on, even if you dont use them would still give starting point if you DIY
