Just a quick heads up on my ebay sale.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=007

Maybe selling with no reserve was a mistake in the current used car market!

Certainly looks good enough how much really is in it? Or more accurately, How much would you like?
I`m looking for a 944 as I type this. I`m hitting derby hopefully on thursday to check out `another` excellent car (their words not mine). That`ll be the 4th `excellent` car i`ve seen and thought "jesus, not again". :?
Good luck with it anyway

For a 20 year old car it's a good one. It's not perfect but i'm not asking 4k for it! I'd be happy with £1800.

This looks a reasonable car...and the sills look as though they have been repaired well too.

I have to disagree. From what I've seen of the current market that car is not going to achieve anything like £3k, which will buy a decent S2 these days.

I think selling the Fuchs separately is the way to go though - pick up a set of horrible cookie cutters for next to nothing and out the car on them. It might achieve less than it would on Fuchs, but not by as much as the Fuchs are worth, assuming they are in good condition.

Well no surprice at the price. Anything over 2 litres is a give away at the moment. It will come back when the panic dies down. The Fuchs were good. Just confirms it's not the time to sell a good '44. Petrol is still going down as well. Shame you had to sell it. :(

Gutted at the price I got. Buyer doesn't seem overly keen to come and pick it up and I did ask for a £100 paypal deposit at the end of the auction which hasn't arrived. If I hear nothing by the end of the weekend I'll store it.

Probably does me a favour actually as I was reluctant to sell in the first place.
