Advice needed
Several years ago, I bought a 1991 Porsche 944 turbo with the intention of restoring and improving/ upgrading it, my intention was to never sell it, as such I believe it has been reworked to a very high standard.
A few years have passed and I have realised that I no longer have the time or back to drive the car and it sits wasted dry stored in a garage with many spares.
The car is a 1991 944 turbo in Glacier blue with a dark blue interior
Original pre restoration mileage was just under 159k Now it is still under 160k, I haven’t used it !
Everything on the car was checked tested and reworked as required, way too much to write here.
Modifications include new Garrett GT3071R turbo with Tial hot side and wastegate
Full 3” exhaust
Vitesse racing MAF kit with larger injectors
Adjustable boost controller, wideband afr with data logging
All poly bushed
Porsche cup 2 alloys
Etc etc
There are many spares including an engine in pieces, motronic, 2.7 head, etc etc
Now the advice from you in the know is, what is it worth ? I would really like it to go to an enthusiast rather than someone who just wants to make money which is why I am asking the forum.
Any advice is appreciated

Re: Advice needed please
Hi Andy
Engine bay looks great but a lot of mods will put a lot of buyers off sadly, however an enthusiast who wants to drive a fast, sorted classic, should be in their element. I would be very interested in a car like yours if I didn't already own something very similar!
Values have dropped back a little sadly, and would need to know the state of the sills etc., assuming all good I'd put you £20k ish in the current market. It's a lot of car for the money and still somewhat underpiced in my opinion, but that's where the market is.
A sub 100k, unmodified car will sell for more. And then sit in someone's garage collecting dust.

Re: Advice needed please
Hello Stuart
Many thanks for the response,
The sills are original with no signs of bubbling etc and no mention from the last mot
20k would be very good, I was thinking more under 15k with the state of things currently.
I have added photos of some of the parts, in you opinion should i try and sell them as a package with the car or seperately?
Andy

Re: Advice needed please
Hi Andy
No worries. £15k would be a bargain for someone in my opinion, should also sell fairly quick at that price.
Bundling the parts in with the car would make it sell quicker but you would make good money selling those bits separately. However, selling the bits individually would take forever and a day. A job lot sale for a reasonable price would be much less hassle, really just depends what you want to do, how you want to price it, and how much faffing about you want involved with!
I'd imagine most buyers (and certainly anyone familiar with the 944) would be interested in seeing the inside of the sills by getting a camera in the door pillar vents. The last place they start to look bad is from the outside as they rot from the inside out and any car on original sills that has lived in the UK for 35 years and done 160k miles has a high chance of rust issues lurking out of sight. However, yours might be perfectly good but only some inspection inside the cavity between inner and outer sills will confirm this. I wouldn't expect many cars to be perfect in there after 35 years on our roads but there will always be exceptions I suppose.

Re: Advice needed please
Really clean example, love the colour combination on these. Sadly, market's tough right now but someone will appreciate all that work.

Re: Advice needed please
Personally I think the car looks ace and would be very tempted by it!!
In the process of changing jobs unfortunately so need to be a bit sensible and sort that. But if it all goes to plan, maybe in a month or so I’ll be back on the hunt for an S2 or Turbo
