Audi 01E gearbox and spline adapter

Hi , just put the gearbox on ebay but thought I would offer it on here with a spline adapter for converting to 944 drive shaft . Its a 6 speed DQS 01e gearbox with the wide first gear for strength . The adapter has been made to connect the splined output from gearbox to 944/968 drive shaft .
You need to make gearbox mounts , I have some early side mounts you could adopt . And you need to modify gear linkage.
I was going to fit to my car but a 968 gearbox became available so fitting that instead . I would like to see someone actually complete the project .
Looking for £650 which is what it cost me for gearbox and adapter .

If you buy a quick shift for that 968 box, dont bin the linkage on the top,

I will rebuild it for someone with a 968 and a sloppy change

Hi Martin, never seen a short shift for a 968 , I am led to believe they do not operate as well as for the 944 box .
