I order a GAZ GHA kit over the weekend and I’m getting asked some questions from larkspeed and not sure what’s being asked altogether. Hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can help!
“ Please can I confirm a few details about your vehicle
I need to know if your vehicle has steel or alloy arms also I need to know the spacing on the brackets on the hubs is it 18mm or 20mm.”
I know the arms are alloy and I know my car being 1989 is a later offset ET52.3 but what is the spacing detail?
Apologies if I’m being thick I’ve searched but can’t find this answer sorry.
Yes it's for the rears, the Gaz shocks need top hat spacers as the top bushes are narrower than std and the bolt holes wider. So it's alloy arms and 12mm spacers. Be warned they have less stroke than std and if rear is not lowered they will not allow full droop. Fitting the rears to chassis mounts is a fiddle but do not be tempted to trim the spacers. Use a long philips screwdriver to help alignment. The eccentric washers and bolts supplied for the fronts are crap, use the original Porsche ones.
