Wasn't in the PET 1 either.

I have a ream of oversized, thick, thick and oversized A2 stainless - if Rider51 wants me to post a couple.

After almost 12 months of Furlough (new vocab for long standing classics that haven't run for a while and have still been paid for, unfortunately without government support unless SORN counts), I started my 944 last week to get it off the drive, give it a bit of TLC which will influence my decision wether to sell or not. Like a dream, it started first turn and the noise, smell and feel were just amazing! Love this car!.... In my eyes the car still looks as good as it did the day it rolled off the production line. Every time I have the car at the front of the house, multiple people will stop and say positive things about it.

I have spent a long time restoring my car and I love each bit of it. Each element brings back multiple memories of the work that has been put into having it to the level it is today.

As for the consideration to sell it, it's a really tough decision. I feel it is time that someone else should enjoy the car and probably use it more then I do currently.

In lock down at the moment, I just thought I'd share 'What I did to my 944 today'.....

you have to ask yourself, considering your feelings stated above, Just what would you buy that creates the same level of emotion for the same kinda cash...... Not a lot

just drive it more even though you might have other transport, I have 4 cars but still drive the 968 once or twice a week

So did I but the running costs are massive compared to a 944 / 968

And they really don’t provide the same emotion to me anyway

Cheers, I've got the original paperwork/serial number and a spare fob. What did H&P need?

Nothing the sockets are all the same, unless you have the flat round one

Will do. Don't think it's going anywhere for 3 or 4 weeks though.

Are you sure about that :) ?

Regarding those washers, if you're bolting the underside bolt, all the pressure is downwards. I'll send you a thick 3mm thick oversized and you can test it.
