The bearing for the clutch release rod are a common size and can be bought anywhere, more important is the state of the shaft, has it got any indentations from the rollers, if so then a new one and bearings will be required
It looks good. I bought a complete clutch kit so i'll look at what I have and what I don't when it comes back from storage (with engine and box and starter ring and ignition leads and plugs and harness and ECU...).
I had to take off the fuel and filter assembly to get access to the drive shaft bolts. They were easier than expected. Left them soaked in de-blocker for 30 mins and then cleaned the heads out before hammering the alen socket in (12 times).
But the damn fuel filter mounting bracket rubber mounts came apart on me. Looked at Design 911 for the two replacements - £20.95 each plus VAT and carriage! The thieving sons of flea bitten motherless goats.
So I had a check at partworks.de. I really ought not to forget about those boys, (i've had orders from them before) and I got a pair for £13.95 incl. , free postage.
Everything that needs to be off the gearbox is off but can't get it off the torque tube...
That's Monday's job. I've burnt the candle out and i'm having the weekend 'off', re-charge the battery. Might do some fettling with the wire dizzy on the bell housing, front cross member and I intend to paint the torque tube heat shield. It's okay, no perforations but it's that 'whilst you're in there...'.
Oh here's a pic of that damn clutch:
