well, after a couple of years fixing I am finally taking her to the track.. (Goodwood)

Currently in for all belts, new engine mounts, front oil seals and oil change and fresh brake fluid.

I have spax adjustable suspension, mintex 1144 pads new powerflex bushes on sway bars and some of the suspension... and a new clutch!
Have I missed anything? ( driver traing done..)

Any advice on how these are best set up / tyres welcome !

Performance brake fluid - I highly recommend Castrol React Performance - good choice of pads BTW I really like the Mintex.

No need to go crazy (unless you want to) with tyres i.e. getting 'trackday' tyres, just get a good set of road performance tyres.

If you haven't already get a full suspension geometry set-up done.

Best advice, keep an eye on the temp guage, and if the engine, brakes, tyres, or you are getting too hot take a nice steady cool down lap or 2 before coming in. Then let everything cool down properly, including yourself! Do not use the handbrake when you park up - you might not get it to release again.

All said, it's about you the track and the car forget the other drivers (well don't impede or race). Jackie Stewart method no sudden inputs , gentle but firm get your apexes most of all have safe fun.
get a mate with plenty of track time to sit alongside to bollock you when you get it wrong.

if you don't know when your head gasket was done, do it, ask me how I know

Have toyo proxes cf2... will change the brake fluid ...

Least of my worries as I now having to replace track rods, suspension mounts (nightmare to get hold of went for 9products ones) ..

AND engine mounts...

not planning on setting lap records, she's an old girl... just a bit a fun... had my elise for wayward driving

Replace your oil pick up pipe, with a braced one if possible. They are a point of weakness, as I found out.
