This is a photo of my neighbours Isuzu Trooper engine. Of particular note are the three cylinders all at the same level and the debris in each cylinder. The head for no 1 cylinder had both valves broken off and the valve heads punched sideways into the chamber. Not cheap!!

The good news is that it's Isuzu / Vauxhall / Opel / GM / Chevrolet parts, so it shouldn't be that expensive. Probably a replacement engine from a breakers - or just buy another Isuzu and break his for parts.
