Hello Chaps.
I have been thinking about this a bit over the last few days and thought I would start a thread about it. I have looked back through the pages on this category of the forum and can’t see it having been brought up for discussion before, although I may be wrong. I’d also like to say that I hope I’m not standing on anyone’s toes or overstepping any boundaries with this thread.
Anyway! There is quite a large event held local to me called “Motors By The Moat” and it is held within the grounds of Leeds castle on the 12th May. I have been to the last two events and have thoroughly enjoyed the day. There seems to be a very wide selection of cars on show so there is bound to be something there for everyone.
I was looking at the registration form earlier today and saw that there was a club stand option for 10 or more cars and it got me thinking, would anyone here be interested in getting a club stand together?
Leeds castle is based on Maidstone and for your purposes of looking at travel time the post code is ME17 1PL.
A link to the Leeds Catalan is listed below. Following the “what’s on” option will show details for the event (direct link doesn’t seem to be working unfortunately) along with other information of the grounds.
http://www.LeedsCastle.co.ukIf you’ve never been to Leeds Castle it’s a pretty cool place for the family, kids as well. I have had an annual pass for the last few years and have always enjoyed it. The Fee is £10 per vehicle and everyone in the vehicle gets admission for that price. Included is access to all of the grounds including the castle and everything else that is there. There is a very large play area for the kids and pretty big maze that can consume a bit of time.
So, Motors By The Moat - 12th May.
If anyone is at all interested please could you register your interest below and if we get enough interest I will get the application form submitted.
If you could please copy the list and add your name, vehicle we can go from there.
