Porsche 911 Targa all Electric

Post by Henryv »

Warm greetings.
I am a new member.
I have a Porche 911 Targa that was on it's last legs.
I had it completely restored, and converted to all Electric power.
The first in the Europe, I think.

This is a video of Richard Morgan, who did the work, and my 911.

I've heard of a few electric 944s but never a 911. Electric Porsches - a taste of things to come...

Yes.
I had a diesel Macan, which was great, but there is nothing like driving an electric car.
All manufacturers are pushing hard to release 100% Electric vehicles by 2020.
Some next year.
The main changes are increased range, with many having 300 miles plus per charge.
The new Porche all electric looks fantastic.
Not sure when it is due?

Yep, but you will need lots of power to drive the sound system to replicate flat six Porsche 911 music  8)
