My '88 turbo S doesn't have a cat and uses the same turbo so I guess it would fit. If you can't find one there are alot of companies in the US selling "test pipes" which remove the cat or you could always just take your cat off and punch the matrix out. However if you are planning on further mods then maybe replacing the whole exhaust would be better in the long run.

Didn't think Porsche fitted any cats for ROW models until around 88? Not even Turbos. So it comes down to how early is early?

The test pipes seem pricey for what you get, I'd be inclined to just cut the cat out and replace it with some straight pipe if I don't find an early one.

I think that is all the test pipes are, so why not. Maybe worth copying the connectors/flanges so you can put the cat back on if you ever need to.
