I took the old girl for her annual inspection and as usual no issues.

Miles covered since last MOT was 659, which is 64 more than last year :o

I love owning the car as much as I do driving it but is it time to say goodbye? I don't need the cash but spending about £1.50 a mile is a bit nuts?

Absolutely nuts. In the good way, though.

i can help you out here, how about i hire it off you for a day or a weekend, you benefit in 2 ways...

1. it'll have more miles on it so £/mile will come down!

2. it will actually earn you money!

so... when is it available?

Sean, how can I put this politely.
You have a car in the UK that you don't like taking out in the rain, ever!
In the UK it pees down a lot AKA bu99er all mileage per annum are you surprised?
Either move to the south of France, or flog it to someone who doesn't mind it getting wet

What is causing my dilema is, I have a turbo itch that I need to scratch. 996TT, 964T2 or a 930LE?

I need to advertise the Cabby to make room or convert the garage to take 4 cars. SWMBO is not overly enthusiastic about a 4 car garage. So the '44 has to go but there is no rush :)

I don't want 2 911's that never go out, becasue I'll only buy something that is in a similar condition to the old girl.

why not buy a 911 with some miles on it but in reasonable nick and actually enjoy the experience for a year? then if you have the turbo fever chop the 911 in and go from there?

You obviously don't like the car if you only do 6 miles a year in it.

Sell it to someone who does!!

IMO it's time to sell Sean, it can't be doing the car much good not being used regularly. Buy a 911 track rat that you can really have some fun in ;)
