Intend to have a complete new system / original but after eleven years with a rattle its time to go full change

Finally on two counts

Paid my £40 and became a paid up member

Exhaust

The one previous owner had OPC fitted sports exhaust system fitted 18th months after taking delivery in 2005.

All I can say is that it was not to my ears ( to push a button and make a sound, Nah )
I prefer the exhaust to go through a range of sounds as the revs alter as so.

40,000 miles done - 11 years old - spend and vamp

Retained original cats
Replaced with Supersprint manifolds, silencers and all other to high grade S/S
The twin tail pipes once removed had rusted badly, replaced with Dansk.

Now its so much better, SO MUCH

Interesting that you didn't like the Factory Sports Exhaust, its the most commented feature of my 996 4S.
My back boxes are starting to split and the bolts are corroded, at some point they will fail and i will have to bite the bullet and replace. I like being able to turn on the stealth button and quieten the noise down, especially when leaving the village at 05:00 in the morning.
