Hi All

Well I know some of you are hearing about us at http://www.psrautomotive.com and as you know we aren’t open... however we are looking to do a opening bbq on the 21st September (although we are likely to take bookings before then)

So I am wondering who is in? PSR would be providing food for all you porsche owners, all welcome, going to invite the Lotus and Vx220 owners also so hopefully it could be a good opportunity for all you owners to socialise and see where we are etc. There seems to be a good response on the Lotus owners club so hopefully there should be a few there.

Just trying to gauge numbers and see how many of you lot would be interested?

Only catch is that you must turn up in your porsche for some nice pics :D

Hopefully see you there :)

PSR

P.S. I have asked for permission to post this thread but as yet haven’t heard back, I apologies if this brakes and forum rules, just trying to spread the word about a social meet.

Great news - there's a shortage of Porsche specialists in the area. I'm in Saffron Walden, so not far up the road. How much Porsche knowledge do you guys have? Are you setting yourselves up as a generalist sports car garage or more specific? i.e. are you going to be somewhere I come for brake pads changed, geometry, VARIOCAM pretensoiners or the torsion bar reindexing??

And most importantly will you be somewhere to call in on a Saturday afternoon for a coffee and a tyre kick? ;)

Don't know if I can make BBQ - but if I'm about I'll be pleased to call in.

firstly sorry will for not replying i didnt notice your post, feel free to contact us via our website and we will try and meet all your needs, even if its just a coffee and some cookies on a saturday :)

SECOND AND IMPORTANTLY.,.

Its with great regret that due to unforseen circumstances that the BBQ will be delayed.

I truely am gutted but i have been let down on a few occasions from others and the knock on effect is a delay in all aspects (such is life)

It will happen, looking for the first week in october now (will keep you all posted) . Sorry if many have you have made plans around these event, i have really been pulling out all the stops to try and get ready for this.

All the best

Paul

Are you open yet? If so, I might try and pop in on Sat morning for a look around if that's ok.

Hi Will

Not open yet, your welcome round before the 1st but hold fire one more week, would rather I have a chance to tidy the place up before heads start popping up

Hi Paul,

I like the new site - needs a bit more pork on there though

I've got some brake discs I'd like fitting (I will supply), possibly the old ones skimming (depending what they look like when they come off), and some slicks I'd like mounting on rims. Needs doing before 10th Oct, as off to 'ring and Spa.

Is that all something you can help with? Flexible on time and date, as often work from home during the week (Saffron Walden).

Cheers,
Will
