Give Thomas at Werk924.com a call

They recover your current dash or you need to provide a RHD core for them to recover. They do LHD dashes on exchange. Don't expect change from £1000 but will be good as new. Porsche Bournemouth has just received theirs for their 924 turbo restoration

Hi Danny,

I replaced my dash ('85 B reg square dash) last week with one from a 924 which had a 1980 manufacturing date on the back of it.
I got very lucky as I bought it off eBay for about £25 4 years ago with only 3 cracks on the top!

It's a straight swap, but the vinyl it is coated with is has a slightly different texture. (Not too noticeable unless you're very picky).
Also there are two brackets for the centre console which will need transferring over.

It's an easy enough job to do on your own within a few hours, 7 fixings hold it in, just a lot of stuff to remove first! the hardest part will be finding a good donor dash.

Good luck, it's a very satisfying job once done!

There were far more available 4 years ago, getting very hard to find good dashes now and they are fetching good money.

The 924 had two dashboards with two different coverings, the early ones are different to 944 but later dash had the same pattern vinyl

Good point well made - especially as I've just seen on the op's thread that he has a brown dash!
