For a set of 7" and 8" x15 Fuchs wheels what would the best tyre size be from:

215/60/15 all round, 225/60/15 all round ( same as current tyre size) or
205/65/15 on the front and 225/60/15 for the rears?

I have 215/60 R15 all round on my 7x8 inch staggered 15 inch Fuchs.

This is the standard fitment. I have an original brochure with the wheel/tyre options listed.

When I got my car it had 225/60's on the rear but this results in the wrong wheel diameter and apparently reduces performance slightly. I thought the new tyres really improved the feel of the car in the turns although this could well be more to do with them being new tyres as opposed to really old ones.

I have Toyo Proxes CF1's on mine.

Thanks for your information regarding 215/60/15 being the correct fitment.
