What a show, many thanks for pitching up and supporting the event.
:headbang:
A big thank you to all the guys and gals that helped park the cars, give out the event plaques and magazines.

Talk about a shotgun start, I have been involved with organizing our shows for over 10 years. That is by far the busiest hour in all that time, it was fantastic seeing all those Porsches coming towards me. :)

We will be renewing our partnership with Beaulieu for another 3 years, they were delighted with the turnout and how well behaved we all are.

See you next year date tbc.

My first time at Simply Porsche and I enjoyed it. I did however find it mildly irritating to find that drivers who arrived early were ushered into a 'holding' car park by marshalls who did a good job of leaving us to battle our way out of said holding car park when the gates/show opened - they disappeared without trace when they were needed. Strange.

I quite enjoyed holding the fort in the club marquee for my designated hour with both Graham and Graham but it felt to me that the marquee was almost tucked away out of site. Why wasn't in slap bang in the middle of the row of trade exhibitors?

Because it was Beaulieu's marquee and was erected way before the event.

Agreed about the Marquee, we tried it but it didn't work. Neither did the event shelter in the middle of the trade stands last year because it is too small. We are purchasing a bigger marquee for Silverstone, so will use it for Simply Porsche next year.

I will feedback about the holding car park marshalling.

Sean, I would like to support FarQue's post. We have been to every Simply Porcshe so far and with the exception of the first the Marshalling in the arrival area is always a challenge. We always arrive early because we want a shady spot under a tree for the dogs but we found that having been carefully marshalled into a car park we were well back when the gates were opened and every one surged forwards from every direction, including those who had just arrived, and it was a bit of a mess. Can we not get the cars better organised a la the first year this event was run which was to stack cars from the entry gate backwards, as they arrived, in a long conga line around the car parks? This was the way it was done for Simply Aston a few weeks back as well. Doesn't detract from a great show but was a bit annoying.

I'm finally home after camping in the New Forest for the weekend. The only communications we had from our field were smoke signals, so I've been off t'interweb until late last night.

What a fantastic show it was, so many fantastic cars and their owners.
I know Sean has already said it but I must say it again, a Big thank you to everyone that helped out on the day.
She doesn't visit this forum but i must thank my other half who delivered about 500 copies of All Torque and helped in the club office.

I have been looking on a few forums this morning to see what others thought of the show. I don't think i've read such glowing reports before and in so may posts they comment on how relaxed and friendly our show are with a lack of snobbery. i guess we're doing something right then :D
There were two families on our campsite that same to the show after seeing our cars and asking about them. They came up to me on Sunday night to thank us for a fabulous day out, they really couldn't believe how many Porsches were in one place.

Helgathe993Targa, sorry I didn't catch up with you on the day.
I did catch up with Sheila who said she'd seen her old car and had a chat with you.
Sadly I also didn't get to meet your new friend either

Yup - real pleasure to see Sheila again and chat about Craig. Apparently he had been inconsolable for weeks after I bought it! Which is why he got himself his ... 944? Or was it an old SC. I don't recall now. Hopefully she approved of the Helga!

Sorry not to meet in person -next time!

Great picture of Humphrey that the Beaulieu phot captured - was worth the risk of virus to get it !

I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone too. I didn't believe it could get bigger and better than last year, but TIPEC knocked it out of the park again. Even my sister who isn't a car person loved it.

I'm not at all surprised that Beaulieu want to renew the partnership. I had cause to revisit my photos from the first "Simply Porsche" in 2013 (http://www.sportpicsuk.com/p467524980). I reckon there were about 80 cars there. What TIPEC and Beaulieu have built together since then, is truly remarkable. I know much of that rests at your door, Sean, so a special thank you is due.

Congratulations and thank you to all of those who worked so hard to make "Simply Porsche 2016" the awesome event it was.
