944 forged clubsport alloys

Post by u63af »

Set of 4 club sport alloys for sale due to changing to 17"s, from a 944 turbo. Very rare standard wheels which came on turbo s models. Lighter than the d90s. The tyres are knackered so I I'll need replaced but will leave them on so that there is less chance of damage when posted.

The wheels have been refurbished, the faces are all very good paint but the back sections of the wheels have a few pitted marks which have been painted over, you need to be close up to see this. There are also a few chips caused by someone putting the tyres on.

Please email me for pics as they are too large to upload to tipec.

Looking for £800 Ono

Where are you based ?
Still got the Cayman? Did you actually sell your 944 Turbo (in 2013?) or are these wheels being sold as bits off it?

Hi
Sent you and email with pics. I did sell the 944 t in 2013 and had the cayman for about 6 months before replacing it with an s1 elise for track days and I have a 90 944 turbo as well. The wheels are on my black 944 t, I fancy a change to cup 2s

Cheers
Sandy

Hi,
Thanks for the pics, still pondering!
I had cup 2's on my S2 Cabriolet (previous owner sold the original D90's :( ) they did look good  BUT :-
If you are going for 17" Cup 2's then be aware the ride will not be as good as the Std 16" it was not very good on the Cab. Keep the old ones :!: if you get 17" you may well change your mind!

I got told this over and over when when I changed from factory D90 to 17" cup 2's and to be honest I did not notice any difference but now I have changed back to 16" wow what a difference the handling on 17" was so much better and the ride was still nicer then my BMW
wishing I had kept the cup's now :(

Taking the wheels off the car soon and need to get them sold as hve too much stuff in my garage.

Can do wheels alone for £550 or can have them professionally powder coated in any colour you want together with coloured centre caps and new rear conti tyres for £800. Don't have any good front tyres unfortunately
Cheers
