996 Carrera needed for Film Project.

Post by PhilipCarr »

Hi, I hope you are well. I was wondering if you could possibly help me at all.

My name is Philip Carr. I’m currently working on a short film project in conjunction with Staffordshire University.

I’ve spoken with Tipec’s marketing and advertising Director Andrew today who advised me that my best course of action would be to ask for help in this forum so here goes...

I’m looking for a 996 Carrera coupe. Ideally a mk1 in Silver to be used in a short film.

The film itself is a documentary shot in a similar style to Ricky Gervais’ The Office but with an emphasis on car enthusiasts.

The filming will take place over 4 days in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire in the last week of September this year.

There will be a maximum of 3 scenes where an actor is required to drive the car.

You can be present with the car 100% of the time during filming.
Obviously full comprehensive insurance will be provided.
All of your expenses, catering and fuel will be covered.
I will be happy to get the car Valeted once filming has finished

My original plan was to rent one unfortunately however sourcing a car of this age has proven extremely difficult and meant that my only option is to reach out to private owners/ enthusiasts.

So if you would like to have your pride and joy immortalised on film and help out an aspiring director at the same time please get in touch.

If you have any questions whatsoever please do not hesitate to contact me on: 07795034327 or email: philipedwardcarr@gmail.com

I look forward to hearing from you. Many Thanks

Phil

Hi Philip,

It was me you spoke to earlier. Good luck with this project. Just for your reference I am no longer the A&M Director for the club - that must have been a very old edition of the club mag you got my details from!
