Sitting in my garage is an Audi 100 CD gearbox from an early 80,s car that I once owned.

Question is.
Is it the same as our 944 box and are the lobro drive shafts the same?

Not a silly question and I would like to know more about the family resemblance between Audi and Porsche boxes too. can anyone help us?

Speaking with someone tonight, he's just sold a a6 2.5tdi to a mate with a 944, the engine/box will be going into that so going to see what happens when that starts. He reckons it should be easy to swap straight over.
