Porsche have released a list of tyres for classic cars that they feel behave most like their original fitment. I suspect that it doesn't stop anyone fitting cheaper as long as they meet speed ratings, etc.

Why does it think that 944's after 86 had 16" wheels?

Hi :)

Not sure about other models, but they got the 928 ones BADLY WRONG ON SPEED RATING !

They say V rating (which is 149 mph max) for almost all 928s... including the Gts which is capable of 178 mph...lol :(..

One of the 2 recommended makes is NOKIAN ...are they serious....lol

Maybe someone got a kickback....

All the best Brett :)

I think that you maybe looking at the Winter Tyre list?
Nokian make very good winter tyres.

Hi :)

You are correct..lol it was the winter pdf :)

Still only says ZR though on the correct pdf....adequate but should be Y on the later faster 928s...GT and Gts for example...

All the best Brett :)
