Wanted white bonnet

Looking for a mint Alpine white bonnet from an oval dash 944. Within approx 75 miles of Cambs ideally.

Hi Pauly, don't know if you are interested but I was at Pie Performance (Suffolk) today and noticed that are breaking a white 944 oval dash. The bonnet looked OK but I didn't really inspect it that closely as it is outside and the weather was turning nasty! It would need a good T cut and polish at the least. If you are interested I am probably going back there next weekend and could have a better look..just let me know. What is the colour code for Alpine White, so I can see if it matches?

Thanks Rhett, Alpine white paint code is L90E. My bonnet only needs a minor repair and around £200 in the bodyshop would make it good again, so really I'm looking for one that could go straight on with no work.

Ok, I understand your requirements. I am probably going to be at Pie next Sat, so if the weather is good I will have a good look at the bonnet and check for any cosmetic problems, and check the code too. Like I said it will need a T cut and polish as any panel left out and 'unloved' will build up a layer of oxidisation and crud. But the paint underneath might be fine...I will check and let you know.

BUUUMP, got quoted £300 and £1400 to fix the minor ding in my bonnet .

They wanted to paint practically the whole front of the car from the doors forward, which I suppose if the car needed it (it doesn't) and it was a top job isn't that bad. I've seen white bonnets on ebay from £40 but they've all been hours away .

It was from a 944 turbo, 1988/90 model, in good condition.
