Thanks Jim appreciated - yes I had heard about that car - I think it might have gone to the trade already? I made some enquiries via other TIPEC members, they didn't materialise on the illusive riviera blue. I tried the link to Karl's profile but it requires a Porsche Club membership for more info. (and mine expired after selling the 993 back in 2012 and I didn't renew it). That is the sort of thing though it sounds ideal, and I'd love to buy an club member's car and get involved again myself in events and rallies.

I didn't hear anything back on the above - but currently looking at a couple of project CS's that are former track cars - just assessing each on their merits even if they represent varing degrees of 'project'. At the same time - keep an eye open for realistically priced standard manual coupes and sports presently, something will turn up for a me as a private cash buyer I'm sure. Thanks M
