If you are dead set on having fast road pads and plan to do a few trackdays as suggested I would then taking a look at Carbon Lorraine brake pads. In the Clio world these are said to be as good as DS2500s and M1144s, and possibly a little better with acceptable braking from cold. Indeed, I was considering getting a set of these for my Clio 172 and still may do on my Escort RST which is not a daily.
However, what is given with one hand is taken with the other.
