OK How much should i expect to pay to have the seals replaced on the oil cooler housing, i dont fancy laying under the 944 right now, and cant borrow a ramp any time soon, so how much is a realistic price to pay a Porsche specialist to do this job ?

Have a chat to Chris or Barrie at Brooklands Kent in Swanley, they should be able to tell you.

I've not heard of them, just up the road from me, do they work on them then ?

Yes Barrie trained at Motor Tune at Shotts in Glasgow on 924, 944 & 928 as well as 911 fodder, these were a big Porsche dealer. They do Porsche & Dancing donkey's & seem pretty switched on, either them or OPC (Porsche Centre) Tonbridge. If you're a TIPEC member then you'll get a discount at OPC.

Off for the Oil cooler seals this morning, Giving Brooklands in Swanley a try, as i cant be bothered this time to lay under it !

Thanks for the recommendation, Barrie is a true gent and i would highly recommend them, Oil seals, Oil and water change, Mot and associated work all for £400 and they dropped it back, Top guys...
