I have a 1991 S2 with a blue interior. The leather steering wheel and gearknob gaiter were never brilliant , but the leather is now starting to disintigrate quite badly. I have been quoted £300 to have the steering wheel retrimmed in blue leather which sounds outrageous to me. Can anyone recommend someone decent within 50 miles of Northampton?

Many thanks for the referral to Royal Steering Wheels. They have quoted me £130.00 to recover the wheel which is far more reasonable. It will however take a fortnight for them to do the job and my car is my daily driver! Can anyone lend me a spare steering wheel.....?

I have the standard lozenge wheel which I took off when I put a momo on mine. If you want one to tide you over then I'll happily lend it to you, although I'm in London and the postage may be a bit expensive.

Oli.
