Hello. New to the forum. Been meaning to join for awhile. Issue with my air conditioning gave me the push to do it.
I have a 1985. I have an intermittent failure of ALL power to the A/C system. Fuses are good. I can remove relay covers and activate either the condensor and or a/c blower manually and they will work. It is like the main power feed to the a/c system has a bad connection. I have the service manual and have been going through the wiring diagram on page 970-47 (bentley productions book). I am pretty handy regarding electrical issues and have a high quality meter. I know this is one of those issues that is difficult and is a hands on problem. Any help including locations would be appreciated. I am questioning my ground but haven't been able to nail it down.
Any insight would be very appreciated

Re: 1985 Air Conditioning/Electrical Issue
If your gas is low (very common) the clutch will not engage on the compressor, welcome to the woes of 993 a/c. Kwick-fit do re-gasses very reasonably and will check for leaks. No gas no blow also check out this useful site:- http://www.bergvillfx.com/porschehvac2.html
