Jeff has the sunroof bits. :D (No longer available form OPC unless you buy the motor as well.) But he's on holiday from tonight for a week! Can't help with the bridge spoiler. Piano wire & mole grips worked on the old stuff. Not with the new. Going to have to smash the glass & then try & force the lumps of glass off one at a time with a screwdriver. Might see what Jeffs tailgates are like while I'm over there.
Thanks for the help guys. Going to put the old tailgate back on next week :( so I can use the car to go to Wakefield.
Only bit of good news is the antiroll bar tweak is amazing. Car corners completely flat. Probably the best value mod I've done! 8)
If it's dry tomorrow will have a go at painting the hubs. Just want to get it finished off now.

Adam. The old cable is kinked & the coller that fixes it to the motor is broken. So instead of opening the roof it just knots the cable. Someones been messing with it. Got the new gears in & everything lined up & it works if you hold the cable in place with pliers.

J.J.,
What is the anti-roll bar tweak and will it work on a 968?

Yeah, whats this anti roll bar tweak? Cmon spill the beans! Glad to hear youve located the sunroof parts. If you find out what type of glue is holding your spoiler on let me know.I could do with some of that to hold my false teeth in place!!! :)

Ordered a pair of these from Lindsey Racing. I really didn't expect them to work so well. Cost £20 + VAT etc They were in with some other bits & didn't up the shipping so I thought why not. They stop the roll bar brackets flexing (& breaking.) But they also allow the roll bar to work as it was designed to. Theres no hint of body roll on change of direction allowing you to put the power down earlier exiting the corner. Fits all Lux. Not sure about the others. They all have similar brackets so maybe. Send Dave an email.

Can't honestly say I've noticed any difference, but maybe I'm not trying hard enough

The 968 already has much bigger anti roll bars standard. So maybe they have less effect. My Lux used to dip a corner when changing direction. Now it doesn't!.
