very nearly there now, got all the sludge out the water system so its a new water-pump new belts (again) cause i dont trust refitting old belts even if they are only two months old and rebuilt calipers new discs and braided hoses should be done for weekend .
bit of bodywork clean up the cookie-cutters and maybe junk the harris-tweed seats for some black/pasha ones then i will be

Hey ,if you can get some black pasha let me know!! I want enough material to recover the seat bases of my front seats but it seems to be pretty rare these days!!!!

Good trick for cleaning up the water system is a dishwasher tablet. Fill with water, disolve tab in a jug of boiling water & add to cooling system & run for around an hour. Given to me by someone who used to do lots of Rover K series head gasket failures.
In Car Mechanics this month they suggest injector cleaner to do the same job.
