I've found a small leak on the cam seal of my S2 so I'm going to do the belts and water pump while I'm there.

Can anyone reccommend a complete kit or am I best to buy separately?
I've read that contitech belts are best and I was thinking of a URO pump maybe.
Cost is an issue as always so I need value for money.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated, I really need to get this right first time.

Many thanks,

Neil

Funnily i heard the Contitech belts were not great ( after i had bought them)
Gates or Dayco belts were the ones recommended when i looked.

Talk to Jon at JMG Ferndown (http://www.jmgporsche.co.uk) - he can do a full set of all the bits you'll need... The guys there really know their stuff too.

Just done mine on the S2, including the water pump. I bought everything separately, I had to wait a week or so for one of the idler. There was a significant price variation across most of the rollers. Unfortunately nobody was best price across the board!

Thanks everyone, I'll get a price from JMG and also hunt down some individual prices.

Design911 would be a good starting point. They had the best prices in the main and the service was excellent

When I had the 944 I used Promax quite a few times as a one stop shop.
