Silverstone Classic Tickets WANTED

Hiya..I should be going to Silverstone with a race team but their car may not make the grid....

Did anyone buy early-bird tickets for the classic that you can't use? If you have a pass for Saturday or Sunday or both with an infield parking pass please get in touch.. :thumbright:

Spotted your car looking fab as ever at Stratford river festival!

My tickets arrived last week. Sorry not spare but just a heads up that I noticed they had reg number overprinted on them this year, and a note they are not transferable. Can't remember if this was case in other years, and the number is small enough to be invisible to busy marshal, but you never know with jobsworths...

Hi Adrian

River Festival was mad...sooo many people just everywhere. Managed to find a nice wide parking spot though which surprised me...never like parking in Stratford but it was an ace day and it would have been rude to leave the 911 behind... We even had dinner at a pub on the island which also surprised me...thought we might end up in the chippy or even McDonalds!!

Still hoping to get tickets in next day or two otherwise may have to pay up full price :shock:

Yes river festival has grown since I moved here over ten years ago. Amazing atmosphere and nice to see more louche side of Stratford. Your car looked great parked up, and you are sadly correct that dim council here do all they can to discourage drivers, without providing any decent alternatives in the way Oxford does. The policy has a disastrous impact on shops in town centre, and creates ridiculous congestion around retail park for such a tiny place.

Weirdly council staff are all provided with ample and free parking spaces...
