Gauging Interest 944 Turbo Guards Red 1990

Good Afternoon All ,

Unfortunately i am having to think about selling my much loved 944 Turbo

After just finishing a year long restoration on her, she has to go to free up some funds

The car definitely has the potential to become a concours winning car with very little work i would say ..

No expense spared at all , and only genuine new porsche items have been used during the resto

E.g New front wings , Suspension , brake lines , bushes etc

The car really does need to be seen in the flesh to be truly appreciated ..

Car has covered 90,000 miles , with full service history .. so much history i have a massive folder full of receipts and documents

All 4 calipers have been professionally refurbished

All that is left to do is have her serviced and the suspension set up which will be getting done in the coming weeks

I see there are a few up on Piston heads & the Silver Rose at Paul Stevens (2nd time around?) looks like its going, deposit taken (£18k?), he says he's looking for good Turbos!
Interesting stuff, what will the market do? hmmm

No, it's a different car, I was speaking with Paul recently and he said this was an extremely good example. last one sold for £20k but it was only 35k miles. He thinks that currently 18k is top money for anything around that mileage and that's a dealer price

I think a dealer like Paul may possibly get 20k for this car but for a private sale I would be aiming a little lower.
However, keep it until next spring and who knows

I don't care for the painted rear spoiler, and although I like the Cup mirrors investor types may want originality. If they have haven't been already the arch liners and under body protectors need refitting. I think some sellers may be getting a little optimistic with their asking prices, there aren't many buyers out there for £20k cars, yet...
