996 wheels

Post by frenchblatter »

Sorry to be a pain but I posted a question in wheels and tyres and have just noticed it's a hardly used section.

Can anyone help, the post is http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=20127

Thanks

I have read the millennium edition brochure and it does not mention that the wheels are chrome. But does mention other items that are. So I think it will probably be a paint.

Sean,

Thanks. I'll take them off and have a really close look. I'm querying it because I'm sure chrome has to be applied to copper, nickel or brass and cannot be applied to alloy.

Thanks,
