Club Trackday 2016

Post by PaulPSB »

After having such a good day at Blyton last month I would love us to give it another go in May/June 2016.

I'm thinking Mallory Park, Castle Combe or Bedford to give the more southerly members an easier journey to the venue this time round.

Would like an idea of how many would be up for this please.

Just post a response so I know whether it's worth pursuing :D

Is this where I whinge that everywhere is too far away from my house, that my wife doesn't understand me, that it clashes with a 'classic' car show, that I'm petrified to put more than 10 miles on the odometer of my Porsche per month etc etc etc...

Stuff that, I'm in!

After a great day at Blyton Park I am definitely interested. Being from SE if further south then even more attractive but maybe more expensive further south??

Just don't rely on any support from the no-show club. Err, I mean the Marcos Club.

TBH Nick, Mazda On Track were pricey for Blyton, didn't provide novice stickers,, charged for tuition etc. Other track day operators are availabe . I have done a full day at Oulton Park for far less cash. Me and Simon went to Anglesey recently for less as well.

Yip, count me in. Had a great time at Blyton. Still amazed that my 25 year old car took so much stick with so little complaint.

Cheers,

Count me in too.
My rides: 02 Boxster S - perfect in many ways although mine has been likened to Trigger's Broom; 1988 911 3.2 Sport - so much feel and character, a challenge to drive well, a flawed diamond in many ways, but every journey is an occasion
