Mrs P and me went for a jolly all over the Highlands (with the RAC card on the hip just in case!)
reckoning on around 733 miles. A couple of wee detours here and there saw 827 miles
in the S2 completed in 4 days. We saw 25.5 mpg first day, then 28.7 & 30.3 respectively
with the last lot not yet brimmed and worked out. I knew they were supposed to be pretty
good on fuel, but I gave the car plenty of err exercise and it seemed to get better and better
the more you pushed it.

It took 2 x 200ml top ups of 10/60 Mobil and that was it!!

It is now completely filthy (somehow looks better  ) and will get a once over as soon as I
get a chance, but so far happy days!

Well done :D

When I go over to France in the 924 I do the 800 trip in one hit, best so far is 14 hours bit usually takes 16 depending on traffic around Paris and the m25

Nice one, sounds a great trip.

I did 460 miles in 4 days on my push bike last week also and that's dirty too!

That's some going Paul, lots of cyclists all over the Highlands, many of them were way past retirement age
(men and women), but were out getting stuck in to the hills. The trick for me was reaching them in the
passing places (lots of single track) so neither 'side' was hindered.

14 hours for 800 miles is cracking on too, we managed Tongue to Isle of Skye (200 ish) in 7 hrs! Did have
a rather cracking seafood lunch in Ullapool though :D
