Hi Guys,

Today I received my pair of Bilstein B6 rear shock absorbers for the grand sum of £106 delivered for the pair! The rrp is over £130 each from Bilstein.

Here's a link and they cost even less this week!

That's nuts! I bought originals late last summer at Promax at over 60 quid each........

When you scroll through the page there are what looks like full front struts, but I wonder
if they are really just inserts?

Awfully tempted ...

The Bilstein fronts are inserts only so would need modification to your original struts to allow fitment.

Alan.

The part number for the fronts must be different from the 968 as I have 34-001042

We're all after a bargain but I think they've put the price up as I can only see £80.00 each ...

Yes, many pairs have been purchased via the 968UK forum and now the price has nearly doubled!

If they are actually that much posted you got an absolute bargain!

Years ago I paid £72 each for B6s on my 205 which specialists wanting almost double! I have paid not much less than your price for a a pair of Bilstein B4s!

Agreed, an amazing bargain. I got in early yesterday and got a pair of rears at £44.52 each inc postage - these will go on my 924S. Couldn't find any front inserts unfortunately, but would happily pay a much higher price for B6 Billies. I haven't looked back since fitting them to my 944S2 with suitable front strut mods :)

Got an email from Amazon last night saying that they were on their way to me.
