Any alternatives to an OPC stand alone warranty?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any alternative warranties to the OPC stand alone warranty? I have read about warranty wise and the other big companies but they seem to make life very difficult of you ever get in a sticky situation. Where as what I hear about Porsche warranty is that their service is excellent. I know hartech do a stand alone warranty but they are in Bolton and I am in Surrey. Could someone shed some light on what my options are/ if I should just bite the bullet?
